Troubleshooting

- Are you having trouble streaming? If so it could be because of

1. Slow internet connection
2. Too many applications open on you computer.
3. Our servers going down.
4. Stream switchover (What’s a stream switchover?)

The most common issue for a choppy stream is a slow Internet connection. We stream at 192 kpbs, which means you need a decent connection to get a smooth stream.

Solution
Most of the time all you need to do to resume a smooth stream is to refresh the page on your browser – that normally does the trick.
If that doesn’t work we’d suggest closing your browser and starting again. Alternatively you can use the options to listen on the listed media players (I Tunes, Windows Media, Real Player and Quick Time).

If none of that works then there might be a problem with our server – which obviously you can’t do much about- apart from wait for us to get things sorted.

What’s a stream switchover?
Switchovers normally occur very early in the morning and late at night. Switchovers occur when we start our live broadcast early in the mornings and very late after midnight when the last live show is broadcast. All you need to resume regular streaming after a switchover is refresh the page on your browser.
